Soccer for 6 and 7 year olds in Hunters Creek, Orlando FL

The Soccer Skills Development Program for 6 and 7 year olds in Hunters Creek, Orlando FL is designed for kids who want to strengthen their soccer skills in order to progress into our youth leagues and training programs. MSA has designed a program for kids of 5 and 6 years of age for the development of their skills. This program is the last and final stage also called ‘’stepping stone’’ before entering into our normal league play. During this program, we cover the most essential areas such as dribbling, passing, turning, shooting, ball control and most of all foot skills. Followed by small-sided games, each week is consisting of a class for kids of 5 years of age and also soccer practice for 7 year olds technical training. This will help to improve, developing and enhancing the players’ exposure. Kids of 5 and 6 years of age will learn and practice soccer when the ball goes in and out during the practice.

Learn about fouls with significance in handling the ball – handball, and on uncertain situations during the play. The order of the day for U5 and U6 includes the fun soccer skills and small sided games. This way they learn to make quick decisions and become inventive soccer players. The coach will set up little soccer environments where U6 players can develop soccer skills, tactics and have fun…

Establishing fundamental motor skills.

Dribbling the soccer ball.

1 on 1 soccer moves like v-move, step over or the scissors.

Basic traps like the sole of the foot and the instep.

Instep drive with either foot.

Kick in or throw-in – varies with an individual league that the kids play in – some leagues play small sided with no restarts – Master of the ball.

One of the most essential needs of this age is the kids are having fun and getting lots of touches on the soccer ball with the opportunity to play soccer. There are some more examples of fun mini soccer games such as Crabs and fishes or Red light green light, which kids go bonkers over. The coach will have to judge the level of the players. There are chances where an experienced player would get bored with some of these games, but beginners will digest these games happily. Players of U6 age must learn to dribble in the right direction – towards the opponent’s goal. The MSA Coach will teach this: Play small-sided games in soccer practice like 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3.

The kids get to play soccer. The coach will put the kids in these small games which will encourage them to make quick decisions. This practice will lead young soccer players to control the soccer ball to dribble.
